Bio

Micah Dombrower is a composer based in Boulder, Colorado. He is currently studying at St. Olaf College, where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Music. He has studied composition with Justin Merritt, Timothy Mahr, Yan Pang, and Mary Ellen Childs; piano with Kathryn Ananda-Owens and Christopher Atzinger; conducting with Steven Amundson, Timothy Mahr, and Anton Armstrong; and voice with James McKeel and KrisAnne Weiss.

He plays piano in the St. Olaf jazz combo, has played in the St. Olaf jazz bands, and has sung in the St. Olaf Viking Chorus and St. Olaf Chapel Choir. He has also studied French horn and baritone saxophone and played in orchestras and wind ensembles. His compositions include solo, chamber, and large ensemble pieces.
